Transcription and search run on Berget — a Swedish provider whose servers literally sit inside a mountain. Answers are written by Claude from Anthropic in the US, and student names are removed from what students write before it is sent there.

The teacher records with one tap in the mobile app, the lesson is transcribed, and students can then ask about the content — while doing homework or studying for a test. Every answer is based only on what the teacher actually said and shows where in the lesson it was said.
No. Elevante only answers from what was said in the lesson. If something was not covered, Elevante says so plainly instead of guessing. Every answer also shows the quote from the lesson it is based on, so the student can check it for themselves.
Elevante was built for school requirements from the start. Raw audio is deleted as soon as the lesson is transcribed — only the text is kept. We sign a data processing agreement with the school, and no AI is trained on student data.
No. Elevante handles the questions that come up after the lesson — the ones that would otherwise wait until next time. The teacher sees what the class asked about and gets time back for what actually needs a teacher. Elevante extends the lesson; it does not replace teaching.
